...no boobs, just flags.. 💩
On call this weekend so no chance to go sailing - but plenty of opportunity for just sitting in the cockpit drinking a beer in the sun while watching the (sailing) world go by, as I replaced my old, much faded, red ensign..
...with a brand-spanky, bright, new one bought at the Boat Show last month..
Verrrr smart...

Sometime it's just enough to be on the water watching (with liquid refreshments of course).
ReplyDeleteAlden - she comes out of the water in about 24 days, so I'm storing memories for the winter.. quite successfully on this occasion.. :o)
Deleteproper yacht ensign without the pretension of a blue one. Call me daft but I always fly the red duster when I'm out rowing
ReplyDeleteBursledon - not daft.. i'm fairly old fashioned about these kind of things.. I have an interest in military history (as the other blog and my nom de plume would probably indicate) and I look at that flag and think of all the brave acts done by brave men while serving on ships flying the same flag - bit of a privilege really...
